The Middle East is an area where cars and truck is king and fuel is cheap, frequently leaving little reward to discover more environmentally-friendly ways of moving.

But this year, as demonstrations throughout the Middle East have actually risen the price of oil, the concern of finding alternative sources of fuel has come into sharp focus.

In an area that has one of the highest carbon footprints worldwide, one service is benefiting from the growing pressure to discover alternatives to oil. It's established the Middle East's very first plan to recycle cooking oil into biodiesel. It's proving profitable too, currently their client-list contains McDonald's.
